Dream Disney Date

Welcome to those of you joining me from The Magical Mouse Pad and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the third stop on our Magical Blogorail.

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think "Walt Disney World?"

I'm sure a lot of you said kids, rides or (the cynics among us) heat and lines.

Romance certainly isn't the first word that people think about when thinking about Walt Disney World. But Walt Disney World certainly can be romantic if you know the right situations. When considering my dream Disney date, I decided to think over the top. I wouldn't normally expect this, but since we are talking hypothetical I figure I can let my imagination run wild. (Figment would be proud)

My dream Disney date would start out with a VIP tour guide taking us around the Magic Kingdom, escorting my husband and I to the front of every attraction. VIP tour guides are magical creatures that only exist at Disney Parks and cost a very pretty penny (if you are staying at a Disney Resort, they will cost you anywhere from $275 to $295 per hour, at a minimum of six hours) but offer a truly unique experience without any hassle!

After our time in the Magic Kingdom, I would go back to my suite (a girl can dream, can't she?) at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and change for dinner. We would have an early dinner at the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. The California Grill offers the best views of the Walt Disney World Resort in my opinion. (And check out the menu!)

Finally, after our romantic dinner, we would set out on the Grand 1 Yacht (husband, are you paying attention?) for champagne and dessert. We would have the Grand 1 butler wait on us as we sail Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon. The lovely evening would be topped off by a viewing of Wishes, right from the boat.

Sigh. Sounds perfect. The only question is, can my husband make this happen by Thursday? Happy Valentines Day!

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is The Disney Chick.

That sounds perfect!  It doesn't get much more romantic than dinner at the California Grill, especially if you can hit it just right and see Wishes!
